To practice telepsychology under the authority of PSYPACT, psychologists must be licensed in their own state, apply for and be granted an E. Passport from the ASPPB, and apply for and obtain Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Psychology (APIT) from the PSYPACT Commission. Once these steps are completed, psychologists can practice telepsychology in participating states without having to obtain additional licenses.

Dr. Julie FitzGerald has completed all requirements and obtained Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) from the PSYPACT Commission.

In 2026, PSYPACT participating states and territories include: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
