Therapy Services

Aurum Psychological Services is a private-pay, limited-caseload practice. This allows for extended time, individualized attention, and a level of depth not typically available in high-volume clinical settings.

Individual therapy for children, teens & young adults, aged 5 - 24

Treatment is offered for:

  • Attention problems/ADHD

  • Anxiety, worry and fears

  • Autism spectrum disorder

  • Executive functioning

  • School avoidance or refusal

  • Adjustment issues (e.g., divorce, serious or prolonged medical illness, death of loved one, significant life change or transition)

  • Learning differences

  • Depression and seasonal mood changes

  • Concussion and mild traumatic brain injury

  • Tourette’s and tic disorders

Fees:

  • Initial intake assessment (60-75 minutes): $300

  • Focused 45-minute therapy session: $240

  • In-depth 60-minute therapy session: $275 (includes a brief summary of topics discussed and list of action steps shared with patient following the session)

Pennsylvania residents: In-person or virtual session via HIPAA-compliant, secure telehealth platform

Outside of Pennsylvania: Virtual session via HIPAA-compliant, secure telehealth platform (see list of participating PsyPact states here)

What to expect

  • Inquiry

    Free, 15-minute consultation

    Private, one-on-one conversation to determine if we are a good fit to help with your situation

  • Intake

    Gather in-depth information about your child’s history, strengths, and current challenges. Together, we will identify goals for treatment and outline a path forward that’s evidence-based, compassionate and tailored to your child’s unique needs.

  • Therapy

    Individual therapy sessions with your child, teen, or young adult, in-person (Pennsylvania only) or virtually using a HIPAA-compliant telemedicine platform

    Sessions are 45 or 60 minutes in length

  • Collaborative Care & Ongoing Monitoring

    We believe that the best outcomes occur through collaboration across each part of a child’s life. As such, we coordinate with parents, teachers, pediatricians, physicians, and others while assessing your child’s progress and adjusting goals and interventions along the way.
